I send some little pings to some of the bugs who can be easily fixed.

For the syslogd stuff I would wait if joey accepts finally the patch, if 
not I would suggest we switch to syslog-ng, I spoke about ~3/4 year with 
the maintainer and he agreed to include such a fix into his package.

The munin-node.conf issue could be fixed as the maintainer suggested:
[ -r /etc/default/munin-node] ...

We'll would ship this file with this content:

  --config=/etc/debian-edu/munin-node.conf-debian.edu

or whatelse.
