OK.  Then we move on without it, and get the DVD cover in place later.

I have no idea why it fail, but suspect it might be some new compiler
or lack of PIC flags when compiling.

I'll do a test install with the etch CD image before I copy the images
to the release directory.  I believe we are ready to release now.
