When I change:
s/ssf=128 =w/ssf=128 write/
in the /etc/ldap/slapd-etch_debian-edu-conf it works.
The admin user (a user who is a member of the admins group) can establish an 
authentificated connection to the ldap and he can add new users.

Can somebody confirm this?
