why both skolelinux etch and skolelinux etch-test ?
+ volatile and vagrant's own pacakges packages 

I have never tried to use such a mix of sources. 
when i wrote the howto i used a more conservative set of sources. 

perhaps eaier to run the conversion script with more normal sources. 

and just do things like backports and volatile afterwards as a regular upgrade.
