severity set back to normal, this is not major. 

also, pere remarked that the correct fix is not to remove the icons or to 
install the software, but make sure that the icons are only there if the 
software is installed.

your "solution" is only a workaround. maybe its a workaround we should keep, 
i'll leave that to pere to decide.
