home dir - loggin error for clients

Hi,

I've got a problem all of a sudden when I try to login from a thin
client and/or at the LDAP-server itself. I get this error message:
Your home directory is listed as: '/skole/linux/home0/testt' but it
does not seem to exist. Do you want to log in with the / (root)
directory as your home directory?

So, somehow the something has changed after I rebooted the servers.
All my users are in the customary location: /skole/tjener/home0 and
the permissions seem to be correct:

tjener:/skole/tjener/home0# ls -l

drwxr-xr-x 4 deskt deskt 4096 2007-02-09 10:27 deskt
drwxr-xr-x 12 infosi infosi 4096 2007-02-13 11:38 infosi
drwx------ 2 root root 16384 2007-02-09 09:26 lost+found
drwxr-xr-x 11 testt testt 4096 2007-02-14 11:07 testt

I don't seem to be out of disk space either:

/dev/mapper/vg_data-lv_home0
                   1008M 177M 781M 19% /skole/tjener/home0

I can log in as root from the console at the LDAP-server, and also via
ssh. So, it seems to me that something is wrong with the login
manager. I use GDM and Gnome.

Regards

Niklas
