I've tried to install cipux on an edubuntu, but something went wrong :

root@edubuntu:/home/francois# cipux_maint_diagnostic
1..35
# Running under perl version 5.008007 for linux
# Current time local: Sat Jun 17 14:26:47 2006
# Current time GMT:   Sat Jun 17 12:26:47 2006
# Using Test.pm version 1.25
# This script will test the CipUX installation.
# If somthing is not ok, follow the instruction in brackets: [...] if
any
#
# Test:
# [01]: exsists /etc/cipux? => ok 1
# [02]:  /etc/cipux has the mode 0750, is this equal to 750? =>ok 2
# [03]: exsists /var/log/cipux? => ok 3
# [04]: /var/log/cipux has the mode 0750, is this equal to 750? =>ok 4
# [05]: exsists  /etc/cipux/cipux.conf? => ok 5
# [06]: is it readable? => ok 6
# [07]: exists /etc/cipux/ldappassword.conf? => ok 7
# [08]: is the Ldap password set in /etc/cipux/ldappassword.conf ? =>
 ok 8
# [09]: exsists /etc/ldap/schema/cipux.schema? => ok 9
# [10]: is the cipux.schema in slapd.conf included? => ok 10
# [11]: is the LDAP server running? => ok 11
# [12]: can we browse the ldap server without passoword? => No such
object (32)

This meaning is that it can not get the wanted ldap object.

I guess you restarted the LDAP server, you executed cipux_setup_ldap and you are using CipUX 3.2.9

If all the above its true, than tell if the man page of ldapsearch on ubuntu has the -y flag.
And if possible, tell me the download location of an ISO of your
distribution.

Had you adopted the Skolelinux LDAP structure? Probably not. Can you point me to a document where the LDAP structure of Ubuntu is described?

I would like to solve this problem fast. So we also could meet
in chat #debian-edu or #skolelinux.de or tell me what comunication system you are using. I am in the German Testcenter of Skolelinux in Germany till 15h (German Time) on Sunday.

Yours
christian
