[Bug 1104] New: Installationlogfiles are lost

The installer askes where to store the logfiles and if i stored it on the local
system (/var/log) they aren't there. (tried 3 times with different locations
(/mnt; /var/log; /target)).
After this question the installer told us that a part of the installation wents
wrong.
