Thierry should answer here, we have done a first step. What we
need are more european countries. So everybody who has some
interessed friends in europe should give the adress to Thierry.
Partners could only be an organisation, no individual person.
Perhaps Thierry should start an new thread to this topic.

Thierry should answer here too. There i a big free software
meeting in France and it is planned to join the last days of this
meeting and then to stay some days at countryside somewher in
france. I do not know the details.

I only want to inform this list about our talk. I do not know how
to start this, but i am disappointed about the old and useless
information on the plone webside (german language i mean). So i
vote for deleting this information. Still did not found someone
to do it. But i will try!

Yes, i agree, the wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu technical pages
should be the master pages to be translated into the french and
german wiki pages, if there is manpower and time for it, what i
believe.
But for other information we have the chance to use our wikis
vice versa too.

It is similar to the debian developer process, and it is an
offer. Not only skills in programming are important, many other
soft skills we will offer to train.
The new member process to become a debian-edu developer or let me
say activist should last as minimum half a year. And this new
member should join as minimum one meeting and should show his
motivation on a small wiki homepage.
We divided the new member process into two phases:
first for orientation, second for qualification. And we mean all
skills, not only programming. And at the end we think about some
symbols like email adress and t-shirt ...
And we think about how to leave the project, not only by going
away but as minimum to documentate his work so, that others could
follow.

project leaders himself ;-)
