>From time to time there are some major changes in debian-cd, that breaks our
cd-building script. While this is anoying, we should stay with mainstream
debian-cd, both to get the latest features, and to help with the development of
debian-cd.

But right now our main focus should be to get a working Sarge-based Debian-Edu cd. 

That's why we use revision 983 for the CD. 

The specific version is set in the script patch-debian-cd  under build/CD (from
alioth)
