Was only talking about the client setup.  
  
Why skel distribution, when we have a cascading config system?  
  
The immutable flag was suggested only together with shell extension [$ie]. This  
lets the users environment variables always take effect. (Never saving expanded  
values in user configs that could go stale)  
  
With this a local email account can be in place up upon installation. I will 
submit such updated config files for sarge when tested.
