[Bug 970] software raid setup with debian-installer (on pre5) does not work

Have seen trouble when doing all these three without reboot:

1) One or more partition is mounted and used, then unmounted for repartitioning.
2) Remove (one or more) partitions and make new ones.
3) Install filesystem(s) on above partitions and, generally, use the recently
made  partitions.

You can do 1) and 2) without reboot, and you can do 2) and 3) without reboot,
but not all three in row. 1) and 2) is sometimes done when maintaining an
existing system, but it's a much different situation from installation, where
you do 2) and 3). Guess the partitioning tools don't see the difference.

It's been some years since I tried this last time so it could do be better now,
but warnings say otherwise so unless there are news...
