nscd problem

hi there,

we are running a sarge ltsp. yesterday and today, we have increasing 
occurencies of freezes / non-booting thin clients.

At the same time I could keep working via X -query ltspserver ...

Some testing lead me to this:

/etc/init.d/nscd restart

helps! Any hints where to look? I just checked the versions of nscd and libc6:
