Hi Finn-Arne,

sorry for not replying at once -- but I am quite out of time by the 
moment. 

- I wanted to clarify the circumstances 1st in order to test the issue 
myself (we run both, venus and bzz tjener with sarge workstations and 
ltsp). But at 2nd sight, I spotted the link below.

- I didn't realise such problems, yet.

- Having read the last detections about glibc6, it seems the reason is 
cornered.

- I remember a slightly similar segfault, but of nscd, then: some 
pinning (newer packages) had updated libc6 to a version different from 
nscd -- which made nscd unstable. But I doubt there is any connection.

In case I can do any further testings on my machine for your use, please 
tell me.
