Sorry, it was not my intention to spread pessimism or annoy anyone.

I am sure the people in Debian is doing their very best to release as soon as 
possible.

I am sorry the for "sarcastic" last sentence, it was unecassery. 

I understand that Debian is released when it is finished, not before, not 
later.

I am sure competent people are working on it.

Yes, hopefully it will get better, I really hope so.

I am thinking about the not-so-frequent releases of Debian, and the in my 
opinion: "highly outdated software" that comes with Woody. Maybe I am wrong ?

This will get better once Sarge arrives, but for how long ? 

Let us hope that it will not take another 2-3 year until the next release of 
Debian.

By the way, the people behind Debian is doing a great job, I really admire 
that. It is my number #1 distro.
