I am not the correct person to ask. What makes you think I know more than
Robert Millan?

Robert Millan is from what I understand part of the Ubuntu project and the
ltsp-utils package is the first sign of code going back upstream from Ubuntu
as far as LTSP is concerned.

I understand that there has been agreement during the ongoing Ubuntu
developers conference that there will be an Edubuntu project, apparently LTSP
will be included in this. I am sure that Ubuntu will release info as seen fit
by them in due course. This does not mean someone is working on LTSP in
Debian, but someone *is* working on LTSP in Ubuntu. This "someone" includes
the key developers in the LTSP project. To the extent Ubuntu sends packages
upstream, indirectly this work should benefit Debian.
