This is to give something back to our contributors. this sounds like a great idea to me, and food is always a good thing. :) i would be very interested in going to events in north america, as i am hesitant to fly largely for ecological reasons(i have only flown for one trip so far). face-to-face interaction can be so valueable to free software development. i don't know how many debian-edu developers are in north america or where they are concentrated, but i'd be curious to explore possibilities. as some of you may already know, i would like to get lessdisks more viable for debian-edu, and see schools as a good place to try to develop interest in free software. opportunities to work more closely with debian-edu developers and develop a strong gpg trust ring would be invaluable. live well, vagrant
