it is located in /var/lib/ldap/*. if the backup ran when slapd
was stopped you can just put it back. you might try your luck and
put it back non the less, but your miles may vary. db_recover is
not an option since the database format in venus is ldbm.

you can
- stop slapd and backup the raw database files
- stop slapd and do a ascii dump with slapcat
