Maybe I was miss understood. I was considering depending on apache and
setting up apache from within the schoolbell install scripts so that
ssl is default.

(Although I have serious doubts about whether configuring one package
from another is a good idea, as well as adding the depends on
apache(without being able to depend on httpd)

Maybe this is a candidate for a debconf question or a metapackage
(schoolbell-ssl))
