weekly report week 32

Done last week:

 - managed release of d-i release candidate 1
	- coordination
	- image builds
	- web site updates
	- archive updates
	- tagging release
	- release announcement
 - list of release critical bugs in debian-edu is now generated daily
   (src/build/CD/buglist.html)
 - fixed debian-edu sarge CD builds to happen again
 - began preparing Debian web site for sarge
 - new education task packages have finally entered the Debian archive

Plans for this week:

 - I'm going to begin helping the Debian security team with checking
security problems to make sure the fixes have gotten into sarge.
(Deferred from last week due to lack of time.)
 - Fix the debian-edu install problem involving prompting for the CD to
   be inserted.
 - Process d-i rc1 installation reports, work out what bugs need to be
fixed for rc2 and begin fixing. Some I know of already:
	- Get fix for base-config hwclock bug into sarge.
	- Fix tasksel standard/required priority package installation and
	  get the fix into sarge.

I'll be in Oxford England between 8/16 and 8/21 for Canonical's
mini-conference. If there's anyone in the area involved in debian-edu
who'd like to meet up, I'd be happy to. Unfortunatly making plans for
this at the last minute precluded me being able to go on from there to the
developer gathering in Norway.
