Hi Knut, hi Ragnar,
why not consider to integrate lessdisks? it's completly Debian based
and it is itself Debian. There is no problem having the client as
thick as wanted; no hassle with local apps compared to LTSP.
There has been much improvement the last few weeks; perhaps you want
to check it out. If there were a few more people with programming
scills and Debian knowhow, it would soon be ready for use out of the
box.
As far as NX is concerned: the only problem seems to be the server
part. But KNOPPIX has recently come up with a free solution for that
and it's Debian, too.
