New Skolelinux CD image release candidate 3 (rc3)
I've made a new Skolelinux CD image, release candidate 3. It is
available from <URL:ftp://developer.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/>.
The image size is 650 MiB.
Major changes since the previous image:
* In first stage installer (debian-installer):
- Improved d-i.
- More translations.
- We probably forgot to list something.
* Updated debian-edu-doc package. (Mari)
* Upgraded Mozilla to 1.6, built for skolelinux. (Finn-Arne)
* Fixed samba/ldap to allow seamless adding ow win2k/xp machines as
clients to the skolelinux domain (Finn-Arne)
* Some minor bugs fixed in the backup system. (Werner)
* Security updates to: cvs (to 1.11.1p1debian-9woody4 / DSA 505-1),
exim (to 3.35-1woody3 / DSA-501-1), libpng2 (to 1.0.12-3.woody.5 /
DSA-498-1)
* We probably forgot to list something.
I have testet that the CD is bootable and installable using VMWare.

The following configuration for server and LTSP-server should work out
of the box:
- Apache
- CUPS
- DHCP
- DNS
- LDAP
- LTSP
- NFS
- NTP
- SMTP/IMAP over SSL
- SSH
- Squid
- Webmin
- User administration
- Backup
- Host and service monitoring.
- SMB
The following services do not work as they should:
- cfengine (need host netgroups)
- SQL-server (unable to install automatically)
Test it and find out more. :-)
The disk usage for the different profiles (in KiB) is as follows.
