installed skolelinux-pr47-cd with manual partitioning; then changed
/etc/apt/sources.list: removed cd-entries un-remarked ...skolelinux.no entries.
apt-get updated/upgraded. apt-get installed kept back packages education-common,
xbase-clients and xlibs
. Next day i apt-get updated/upgraded (4 entries, i can't tell which) and then
tried to apt-get install kept back packages debian-edu-config
education-main-server with error education-main-server needs samba and
webmin-samba, but ar not going to be installed (sorry, may be similar), but they
are installed. In aptitude i tried marking them to install and saw that either
debian-edu-install may be installed, or education-main-server, samba and
webmin-samba.
Mailed to <debian-edu@lists.debian.org> and got following answer from Finn-Arne
Johansen <faj@bzz.no>:
That is my mistake. I edited debian-edu-config yesterday, and added a
conflict with samba < 3.0.0
This is because we want to add samba-3.0.2a
Samba is copied in from backports.org, but i forgot to doublecheck
which other packages that are needed.
Right now I'm in the process of recompiling samba 3.0.2a on my
test-server, and when done, I will add them to the apt-source.
Could you by the way file a bug on this, on bugs.skolelinux.no ?
