I'm unable to find the bug in bugzilla. The open bugs I find in
bugzilla registered against wls and wlus are #348, #433, #443, #547,
#638, #698, #695 and #715.

If the LDAP database can be created with out using the admin database,
yes.

How do you check that the group is created? I would be surprised if
the LDAP database as updated without the admin password, so if that is
the case we need to find out how that could happen.
