[Bug 707] DHCP will not give Win a working IP

Why should it be a problem to have ip-address 10.0.2.255 ?
We do have a netmask of 255.255.254.0, leaving the whole range of 10.0.2.1 and
up to 10.0.3.254 to us.
10.0.2.0 is the network address, and 10.0.3.255 is broadcast.
Doesn't W2k handle this ?
What does ipconfig /all show ?
