*me shakes head in amazement*
makes me wonder:
- - wireless lan's are non-physical -> allowed ?
- - if both the pupil-lan and administration-lan have a connection to a 3th
network (like say The Internet), you then have an indirect connection
that ,with the wrong setup, allows everything the physical connection
allows. (if that's not allowed do all school administrators have 2
computers, one for connection to the outside world, and one to do the
administration?)
it's already illegal under privacy laws to allow access to personal data,
way on earth do they have an additional disallowing 1 particular type of
(physical) setup that _might_ be abused if the software setup is done
naively?
