o.k. hier hatte ich Harry so verstanden, daß eine _zusätzliche_ größere
Partition gemeint ist.

Da gebe ich Dir generell recht.

Na und? Der Sinn von LVM ist es doch wohl, neue physikalische Volumes zu den
existierenden VolumeGroups/logicalVolumes hinzuzufügen ? Also ich bin damit
bisher nicht auf Probleme gestoßen, im Gegenteil einige exotische Controller
konnte ich erst nach der Installation so ins System einbinden. Allenfalls habe
ich versäumt, auf die Notwendigkeit einer Datensicherung _vor_ dieser Aktion
hinzuweisen.
