I've made a new Skolelinux CD image, prerelease 44. It is available
from <URL:ftp://developer.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/>. The image
size is 648 MiB.
Major changes since the previous image:
* In first stage installer (debian-installer):
+ Upgraded boot floppy to the latest version. (Petter)
+ Added some SCSI drivers to install system, which had been dropped
when the kernel module udeb content was changed. (Petter)
+ Improved some of the translations. (Bart, Kai)
* Update X autoconfiguration to prefer XFree86 version 4 if both 3 and 4 is
an option, prefer the info extracted from hwinfo, and to report the PCI
id of the detected video card to installer.log. (Kristoffer)
* Reduced CD size to 650 MB again, as I got some test reports with boot
problems that might be related to the size. (Petter)
* Security updates to: bind (to 1:8.3.3-2.0woody2 / DSA 409-1)
* I probably forgot something.
I have testet that the CD is bootable and installable using VMWare.

The following configuration for server and LTSP-server should work out
of the box:
- Apache
- CUPS
- DHCP
- DNS
- LDAP
- LTSP
- NFS
- NTP
- SMTP/IMAP over SSL
- SSH
- Squid
- Webmin
- User administration
The following services do not work as they should:
- SMB (lack LDAP authentication)
- cfengine (need host netgroups)
- Backup (first draft on the CD)
- SQL-server (unable to install automatically)
- Appletalk (no one has worked on it)
- Host and service monitoring. (not ready yet)
Test it and find out more. :-)
The disk usage for the different profiles (in KiB) is as follows.
Please take the numbers with a small grain of salt.

it reports device ID. discover does not. hwinfo will now be used
over discover, but discover will still be used if hwinfo fails.

found by kudzu. Added defaults for mouse port and protocol.
