So, it means that one of the three Devanagari-based languages we support in D-I is concerned: Marathi, Hindi or Nepali. Still, the three languages have ttf-devanagari-fonts listed in the relevant <language>-desktop task. So, tasksel should have installed the font....and the question becomes: why hasn't it?
