Hi,
in my branch with aliasing support I have:
root@lime:~# dpkg -S /bin/ls
coreutils: /bin/ls
root@lime:~# dpkg -S /usr/bin/ls
coreutils: /usr/bin/ls
This should be mostly compatible with existing uses for files because it
outputs the expected file name and a list of packages that claim this
file name as a comma-separated list.
I'm unsure about:1. what should I output when (potentially inconsistent) diversions exist for aliases of the queried name? 2. should there be alternate modes ("ignore aliases", "output registered instead of queried file name")?
Simon
