Doing "sed 's/processesing/processing'" on po/*.po would also be a good idea, indeed. As dpkg is listed amon D-I "level 5" files, such errors should indeed be catched by D-I spellchecker: http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/spellcheck/level5/index.html Look for "English" translations and click on the number for "unknown words". The only drawback is that you' ll find things mixed with other packages from level 5 (aptitude, apt, etc.)
