Bug#293280: dpkg: [DPKG-DEB] option --vextract, -X would be more consistent in format "--verbose --extract"

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.10.26
Severity: wishlist

dpkg-deb uses option --vextract, -X to

...prints a listing of the files extracted as it goes, while --extract (-x)

In most of the programs this is the action of --verbose option. Perhaps it would be
mo consistent to offer:

   --verbose --extract aka -v -x

Instead of the current action. If the current option cannot be
changed, perhaps new option

   --verbose

Could be added.
