Bug#286632: dpkg: [SEGFAULT] md5sum check on directories will segfault

error processing /: failed in buffer_read(fd): mdfile: Is a directory
Segmentation fault

md5sum segfaults on directories. I think there's a check missing.
Reproducible on debian stable and debian sid.
