is movecontrolfiles() used to move an archive's files after it's unpacked?

hi,

i need to know how dpkg does its file moving.

the reason is because i am finding out if, in considering patching
dpkg to support selinux, whether it's necessary to add an extra
argument to the use of "/bin/mv" command in movecontrolfiles()
to preserve file contexts.

or is there some other function which moves the unpacked archive to
the correct location?
