Bug#255882: segfault if the deb is removed in the middle of an install

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.10.22
Severity: normal

root:/home/joey/src>dpkg -i base-config_2.27_all.deb tasksel_2.01_i386.deb
(Reading database ... 133792 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace base-config 2.27 (using base-config_2.27_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement base-config ...
dpkg-deb: failed to read archive `base-config_2.27_all.deb': No such file or directory
zsh: segmentation fault dpkg -i base-config_2.27_all.deb tasksel_2.01_i386.deb

I think this is because I accidentially removed the deb while it was in the
middle of the install.
