Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.9.18
Severity: wishlist

man dpkg-source under the section for dpkg-source options states

"If no second argument is supplied then dpkg-source will look for the
original source tarfile package_upstream-version.orig.tar.gz"

package_upstream-version.orig.tar.gz should be replaced with either
package_upstream-revision.orig.tar.gz or "package_version.orig.tar.gz

version == upstream-revision,  so upstream-version is recursive :)
