Bug#235266: dpkg-dev: dpkg-checkbuilddeps should distinguish build-depends from build-conflicts
Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.10.18
Severity: wishlist
dpkg-checkbuilddeps, if run in a build with a Build-Conflicts on an
installed package, the conflict will simply be reported as "Unmed build
dependencies: packagename." One can't tell that apart from an
unsatisfied Build-Depends, which leads to some small confusion.
