Bug#220758: /usr/bin/dpkg-source: please consider making -W turn different size error to a warning
Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.10.18
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/bin/dpkg-source
Hi,
dpkg-source's -W option turns certain errors into warnings. But,
however,
[10/508]mh@kes:~/tmp$ dpkg-source -W -x *.dsc
dpkg-source: error: file bb_1.2-9.diff.gz has size 7488 instead of expected 2855
[11/509]mh@kes:~/tmp$
Please consider adding that error to the list turned into warnings as
well to allow unpacking of broken packages.
Greetings
Marc
