Hello, I installed nethack-common_3.4.1-1.2_i386.deb and it brought a new config file, namly /etc/init.d/nethack. Later nethack-common got updated to version 3.4.2-2. In this package /etc/init.d/nethack is no longer a config file (but /etc/init.d/nethack-common is). But the now obsolete file /etc/init.d/nethack still exists. I'm not sure, if this situation is already buggy, but if I purge nethack-common, it should definitly be deleted. But the file still exists after purging the package. I don't attach the two deb's as I suppose you can anyhow easily reconstruct the situation. If you need the archives anyhow, send a private mail. Regards and thanks for a great package manager Uwe PS: I'm not subscribed to this list (and don't want to for this one question). I will follow this thread in the archive. So please Cc: me, if appropriate. -- Uwe Zeisberger main(){char*a="main(){char*a=%c%s%c;printf(a,34,a,34%c";printf(a,34,a,34 ,10);a=",10);a=%c%s%c;printf(a,34,a,34,10);}%c";printf(a,34,a,34,10);}
