i've split a debian package with the command:
dpkg-split -s -S1420 kernel-image-2.4.18-1-386_2.4.18-8_i386.deb
but when i try to join, it says:
kernel-image-2.4.18-1-386_2.4.18-8_i386.1of7.deb is corrupt - bad MD5
checksum 1cc6de04aa29d9766d48c4c36ae64b3e
