changing the install directory of apt

Hi all,

I have the woody-distro downloaded and burned on CD. I also divided my
disk into several partitions (/ , /usr, /usr/local, /opt, ... ).

Now, that I installed a bunch of packages, I noticed that my
/usr-partition is nearly full, but the other partition (/usr/local and
/opt) are pretty empty.

Is there a way to tell "dselect", "apt" and "dpkg" to put the packages
into the "/usr/local-" or "/opt-filesystem" instead of putting them all
in /usr?

TIA
Friedhelm
