Bug#161097: dpkg: md5sum does not handle signed files correctly

I think I saw the same or similar thing the other day. I ran md5sum -c on
the ISO images MD5SUMS file which was also signed and it tried to process
the last file with a corrupted name.

wiggy suggested on IRC that I should echo >> MD5SUMS to fix it, but I don't
see why that should be necessary anyhow...
