Bug#137315: dpkg: update-alternatives: creation of `link' doesn't respect `Replaces:'.

Actually, the answer is that we do not support upgrades across two
Debian releases.  That is, you can go from slink to potato, from
potato to woody, but not from slink to woody directly.
