Bug#137313: dpkg: update-alternatives: various minor reporting bugs
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.9.19
Severity: minor
Run update-alternatives (say --help) under perl -w. It shows 4 warnings, at
least 3 of which appear to be bugs. (An overly-quick glance suggests that the
linkname2 variable was deliberately renamed from linkname, even though it isn't
used. Probably the fix here is just to remove the `linkname2=' string.)
Also, line 239 has an obvious copy-and-paste bug from 2 lines up.
(I'd also suggest adding `-w' to line 1.)
