Bug#136850: dselect: option to not ask to "erase any previously downloaded .deb files

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.9.19
Severity: wishlist

fter [I]nstalling packages, dselect asks "Do you want to erase any
previously downloaded .deb files? [Y/n]". I request that there be an
option to not have this screen, or to associate this option with the
"expert" option, so that if the "expert" option is selected, this
question is not asked. At the very least, the default could be set to
"N" ([y/N]).

Thank you.
