Bug#119326: dpkg: same here but in "normal" term

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.9.19

I'm seeing the same problem here (i.e. dselect dying after upgrading):

When I rerun dselect (and update again) everything is fine. I'm not sure
I can reproduce this. It seems to only happen when there's some new
stuff to get. I'll try a strace next time if that helps.

I'm working from konsole (KDE console) with no screen or any special
frills.
