Maybe you know, we started with the translation of all debian
package descriptions. Also we make daily new packages files with the
translated descriptions (all other tags are the same).
A user can add this packages files to his /etc/apt/sources.list and
can use the translated description.
But I get a bug report today, and I don't understand apt. Maybe
someone can help...
first the bug report:
The user have add the translated apt source to his sources.list
file (deb http://gluck.debian.org/~grisu/ddts/aptable de/sid main)
and have mc installed.
Package: mc
Status: install ok installed
Version: 4.5.54-1.1
Package: gmc
Status: install ok installed
Version: 4.5.54-1.1
Now he make (with LANG=de_DE, sorry):
apt-get upgrade && apt-get upgrade

You see, in both 'apt-get upgrade' apt installed mc!
If he remove the apt source with the translated package file, he don't have
this problem.
Can someone explain this behavior? Is this a bug in the package file, in the
release file (this is only a copy from ftp.debian.org) or a
bug/feature in APT or dpkg?
