Subject: libpam-modules: Error during upgrade 0.69-6 -> 0.69-7
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 3.2.2

Package: libpam-modules
Version: 0.69-6
Severity: normal

Got this during a dselect upgrade (via apt):

Preparing to replace libpam-modules 0.69-6 (using .../libpam-modules_0.69-7_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement libpam-modules ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libpam-modules.postrm: /usr/sbin/suidunregister: Åtkomst nekas
dpkg: warning - old post-removal script returned error exit status 126
dpkg - trying script from the new package instead ...
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/postrm: /usr/sbin/suidunregister: Åtkomst nekas
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/libpam-modules_0.69-7_i386.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess new post-removal script returned error exit status 126
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/postrm: /usr/sbin/suidunregister: Åtkomst nekas
dpkg: error while cleaning up:
 subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 126
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libpam-modules_0.69-7_i386.deb
E: Sub-process returned an error code (1)
Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the
packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors
or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors
above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again
Press enter to continue.

(Åtkomst nekas == Permission denied)

Seems not to mess up anything, though. A 'dpkg --pending --configure'
doesn't complain about libpam-modules afterwards.

Weird.
