Bug#35728: dpkg: Crashes when resizing xterm window while running dselect

I was running an XSession, launched as an ordinary user.  Inside an xterm
I used su to become root, and then ran dselect.  Upon resizing the xterm 
window while in the Select section of dselect, dselect  exited with the 
following error message:

dselect: getch failed: Interrupted system call
