Subject: dpkg: dpkg-source cannot unpack source
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 2.94

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.4.0.17

I cannot unpack a source archive that was just created by dpkg-buildpackage:

feivel:test 148) dpkg-source -x ~/todo/ibcs_970513-2.dsc
dpkg-source: extracting ibcs in ibcs-970513
patch: **** .dpkg-orig is not a regular file--can't patch
dpkg-source: failure: patch gave error exit status 2
